Season 14

Episode 1

Christmas is almost here in Urk, but peace is under pressure. Tony is getting a Christmas tree, and Derre is having none of the nonsense. Meanwhile, Gerda faces an exciting milestone: her gastric bypass surgery is scheduled for today, but only if she's lost those last few stubborn pounds. Things are anything but peaceful at Teun's. His new home is slowly turning into a construction site where demolition, renovation, and carpentry are underway.

Episode 2

Ap and Teun are hosting a Christmas dinner for their single friends at the Ommele. At the Keuters', a very different tension hangs in the air this year. Mathilde is about to leave her parents' home. Greetje is trying to pick up the pieces of her life after the breakup with Bert. Tony and Derre are celebrating Christmas with presents for the grandchildren. But what do you give today's youth?

Episode 3

It is vacation time, but for Teun that means no relaxation, but rather hard work. The garden needs a thorough overhaul, and Ap is ready to help him. Everything is being turned upside down, and it is certainly not being done with kid gloves. The situation comes very close to spiraling completely out of control. Meanwhile, twin sisters Gerda and Mathilde, along with their partners Klaas and Davy, enthusiastically pack their bags for a romantic and cozy weekend in picturesque Valkenburg. For the first time, they are going on a double date together, hoping that a connection will develop between the men.

Episode 4

In snow-covered Urk, most residents are enjoying the wintry scenery, but Greetje is struggling with a severe winter slump. A candid conversation seems inevitable. Ap and Teun, on the other hand, are making the most of the winter fun and strap their skis to the car for a spectacular ride. Meanwhile, Mathilde has received the keys to her new house and is the first to invite her twin sister to come take a look, who then immediately rolls up her sleeves.

Episode 5

After a day of shopping for Teun's new house, Ap and Teun settle down in chic Knokke for a night away. However, the weather isn't cooperating, so they have to improvise to make the best of it. Meanwhile, Bert and Gre's dog, Floris, asks for help, as no chair leg or trouser leg is safe anymore. While Gre remains calm, Bert is getting quite nervous. Mathilde has secured an apartment right next to her parents', but it requires a lot of work. Therefore, the entire Keuter family is called upon, starting with removing the connecting door that links her home to her parents'.

Episode 6

Mathilde is moving out on her own for the first time, even though it is only eighty meters away, right next to her parents. The whole family helps move her belongings to the new apartment. After the move, Klaas and Gerda are inspired to give their own house a thorough clean as well. Meanwhile, Ap receives vague news from his landlord and discusses it with Teun, venting his frustration during the demolition of Teun's old bathroom.

Episode 7

Ap celebrates his dog Lup's first birthday with a party, complete with cake and guests. Teun helps him with the preparations. Bert and Gre try to breathe new life into their relationship with a fair division of tasks, although in practice this proves not so simple. Klaas and Gerda are getting ready for their daughter Maily's third birthday. As they look forward to primary school, memories of when Mathilde was bullied also resurface. Tonny and Derre travel to Dordrecht to fry fish for people who are less well-off, but it remains unexpectedly quiet. Teun receives bad news: his new house is flooded. Jelle needs to recover after back surgery. Mathilde and Jannie take care of him like true sisters. Gerda is urgently admitted to the hospital due to complications following her gastric bypass surgery.

Episode 8

Ap joins a crew on inland waterways to see if this work suits him. With the uncertainty surrounding the Ommele in the back of his mind, he views this as an option for the future. After complications from her gastric bypass surgery, Gerda is allowed to go home, while Mathilde is preparing for the same procedure. Together with Gerda and Davy, she waits in the hospital for the big moment, although the waiting is hard on an empty stomach. Tony and Derre pick up canaries from an acquaintance who can no longer care for them, but catching the birds proves to be a challenge. Teun and Ap are in Málaga to look into a holiday home for rental. In between, they explore the city, visit the market, and enjoy a drink on a terrace. However, due to a stomach flu, Teun has to stay near a toilet at all times, which makes the adventure just a little different.

Episode 9

Mathilde leaves the hospital after her gastric bypass surgery. Her recovery is harder than expected. She now lives next to her parents, with a direct connection between the houses. Everyone has to get used to the new situation. Tony and Derre leave for a long weekend, but with mixed feelings. Their elderly dog, Dub, stays behind with sister Truida. They worry about what might happen during their absence. In Málaga, Ap and Teun are looking for a holiday home to rent out. They view various properties, including in Mijas. Not every house turns out to be suitable, and the Spanish real estate agent is also disappointing.
