By accessing or using MegDB.Com (“the Service”, “we”, “us”, “our”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MegDB.Com.

MegDB.Com is a free, read-only streaming discovery platform that aggregates publicly available movie and television data via The Movie Database (TMDb) API. The Service allows you to:

• Discover movies, TV shows, series and other video content
• Find streaming availability across 60 + platforms in 190 + countries
• Access cast, crew, ratings, trailers, episode guides and other metadata
• Save personal watchlists and viewing history locally on your device
• Explore editorial content, charts, collections and person pages

MegDB.Com does NOT host, stream, cache, distribute, transmit or sell any copyrighted media content. All video content is served exclusively by the respective licensed streaming services.

The Service is available to users of all ages. Content ratings (sourced from TMDb) may indicate material intended for mature audiences; parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minor users. MegDB.Com reserves the right to restrict access from any jurisdiction at any time without notice.

You may use the Service for lawful personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree to:

• Comply with all applicable local, national and international laws and regulations
• Respect the intellectual property rights of TMDb, streaming services and content owners
• Use the Service in a manner that does not harm other users or third parties

You agree NOT to:

• (a) Scrape, crawl, spider or otherwise extract data from MegDB.Com in bulk without prior written permission
• (b) Use automated bots, scrapers or scripts that generate excessive server load
• (c) Attempt to bypass, disable or circumvent any security measure or access control
• (d) Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service
• (e) Build a competing product relying on MegDB.Com's infrastructure or data pipeline
• (f) Introduce malware, viruses, worms, trojan horses or other malicious code
• (g) Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with MegDB.Com, TMDb or any streaming service
• (h) Use the Service for any commercial purpose without express written consent
• (i) Impersonate any person or entity, or collect / harvest information about other users

All original MegDB.Com design elements, code, interface, branding, logos, copy and documentation are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Movie and TV metadata, images, ratings and descriptions are provided by The Movie Database (TMDb) and are subject to the TMDb API License Agreement and TMDb's Terms of Use (themoviedb.org/terms-of-use). Streaming service names, logos and trademarks (including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney +, Apple TV +, Max, Paramount +, Peacock and Hulu) are the exclusive property of their respective owners. MegDB.Com is not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially connected to any streaming service.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Streaming availability, content ratings, metadata and all other information displayed on MegDB.Com is sourced from TMDb and third-party data providers and may not always be accurate, current, complete or suitable for your purposes. In particular:

• Streaming availability changes frequently and may differ by country, subscription tier or date
• Content ratings are assigned by TMDb community contributors and may not reflect official national rating decisions
• Availability information should always be verified directly with the relevant streaming service

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEGDB.COM DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MEGDB.COM AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless MegDB.Com and its operators, officers, agents and employees from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights including intellectual property rights; or (d) any claim that your use caused damage to a third party.

The Service contains links to third-party websites and services (including streaming platforms, trailer services, TMDb and others). These links are for convenience only and do not constitute an endorsement. We have no control over third-party content, privacy practices or terms and are not responsible for them.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuation.

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance. Material changes will be noted on the What's New page.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts. Before commencing legal proceedings you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us first.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, GDPR Rights Notice and DMCA Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MegDB.Com.
