Set in Shanghai during the Xinhai Revolution, the film follows foreign powers exploiting underground boxing matches to steal secrets of Chinese martial arts. Master Huo Zhenshan defends national pride by defeating a foreign fighter, but mysteriously dies afterward. A young man named Shitou, seeking revenge for his father’s death, infiltrates the Huo martial arts school and falls in love with Huo’s daughter, Xiaoyu. As tensions rise, he becomes entangled with Huang Jinpeng, who is secretly pursuing his own vendetta. Together, they uncover the truth and join forces to thwart the foreigners' conspiracy.
