Hate Thyself

In this thriller story, devout detective Angelo Matteo and his partner Rufus engage in a raid, uncovering a gruesome scene of a serial killer's victims. As they investigate, Angelo's inner demons and questions about the nature of good and evil haunt him, leading to struggles with alcohol and strained relationships, including with his wife Ashley. Meanwhile, a disturbed individual named Ed Erdella picks up young men at bus stops and subjects them to horrifying torture. Angelo's pursuit of justice intensifies as he battles personal demons, seeks therapy, and uncovers a larger conspiracy involving missing persons. The story follows Angelo's journey to unravel the truth and bring the killer to justice while confronting his own inner turmoil.
